教学过程

Step I   Warming-up  Watch a cartoon about transportation.

【设计意图:通过看动画视频吸引学生的注意力和兴趣,同时寓教于乐,使学生们快速的融入课堂之中。】

Step II: Review expressions.

1.Show some transportstion pictures and say the phrases as quickly as you can .

2.Show some  pop startspictures and ask students to guess how they get to school.

Step :New lesson

1.Practice  conversations.

Show some pictures of  some men,time and distance ,give students two minutes to prepare conversations.

B:It takes ...

A:How far is it from your home to school ?    

B:It is

【设计意图:通过交通工具,花费时间和从学校到家的距离,练习句型,使学生用这些句型进行写作,为写作打好句型基础。】

2. Read the e-mail from your pen pal Tom in the US.Fill in the blanks in the box.

Hi there,

How are you? Thank you for your last e-mail. You want to know how I_____  school, right? Well, I usually_____ my home at about 8:00 and ______to the bus stop. The school bus usually comes at 8:15. My school is about 20_____ from my home.It______ about 40 minutes to get there by bus. The bus ride is never _____ because I always talk to my classmates.

4.Writing .

The teacher makes a Micoclass(微课) and make outline of writing(写作概况) ,so that they can write an e-mail.

【设计意图:教师制作微课,用新媒体的形式吸引学生的注意力,同时给出写作概况,为写电子邮件扫清了格式和结构困难.

Step :Fun show( 快乐展示 )

教师通过希沃助手把作文展示在多媒体上,学生更加清楚看到其他同学的作文,向优秀同学学习和意识到自己的错误并改正错误。

【设计意图:此环节旨在培养学生写作能力及大胆开口说英语的习惯和语言的综合运用能力。】

Step V:Homework

A:根据班级同学以什么方式来上学的实际情况,写一篇短文,题目为:How do students get to school? ,字数不少于60词。

B层:Write a short report about how you get to school.

C层:Write the e-mail in class on the composition book.

【设计意图:课外作业是检测学生的重要环节,但有部分学生没有英语基础,单词和句型没有掌握那么好,所以教师把作业分层,对有些学生来说没有那么大的压力,符合教学方法---因材施教。】

教学反思:

本节课让学生在老师的指导下,通过感知、体验、参与和合作等方式,实现书写电子邮件的任务目标,感受成功。在学习的过程中进行情感和策略调整,以帮助学生形成积极的学习态度,促进其语言实际能力的提高。同时师生相互合作,相互沟通,相互影响,相互补充,从而能共识、共享、共进,这是教学相长的真谛。

多媒体的运用直观、快捷、合理,提高了课堂教学的有效性。在展示过程中,教师能适时的使用激励性的语言,极大的调动了学生的学习积极性。

不足之处及改进措施:

1.部分看似积极参与活动,但在笔头落实中常常出错。所以在今后做活动时,应适当把握节奏,在涉及某些重点短句子时,让学生及时做笔记,并且设计活动时注意口头与笔头的交叉进行。

2.该课时容量较大,对于基础知识薄弱,课堂表现不积极的学生来说,课后还需要加强巩固练习。
